Psychologist, Child and adolescent psychologist

Work experience
As a psychology student in Athens, I covered placements in gynaecological and obstetrics wards and then volunteered in the children's hospital Paidon Agia Sofia in the national specialist team for developmental and behavioural paediatrics.
When I moved to London for my studies, I completed my MSc placement in Lambeth Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). I worked as a specialist mental health support worker and then senior worker and assistant manager in a high support accommodation service for looked after young people and care leavers with severe mental health difficulties and risk to self and others. During my MA in psychodynamic psychotherapy I completed two years of infant observation and a year of toddler observation with the aim of following normal development. I later worked as a senior family worker with families of children with neurodiversity and disabilities in Islington council and I also worked as a youth worker in Hackney council with young offenders. Before returning to Greece to open my private practice, I worked as a CAMHS worker in Hackney Ark CAMHS, where I saw children, young people and families in the community for therapy and supported local primary schools as a school psychologist.
