​I studied psychology in Panteion University in Athens and completed my postgraduate studies in London, where I lived and worked for 10 years. I follow an integrative psychotherapeutic approach based on developmental psychology, psychodynamic psychotherapy and cognitive behavioural therapy. 

 

My aim is for my clients to feel comfortable to share what troubles them. I am aware that psychotherapy is not a process that feels natural at first. Clinical experience and evidence base support my belief that psychotherapy works for people of all ages and this has supported my positive outlook when working with people with long psychiatric histories and difficult pasts. I respect diversity and I take into account the impact of systems on our lives (eg family, local area, work , school), our personal differences (eg gender, sexuality, ethnic background, personality traits) and issues that arise in a modern multicultural society.
